As Veteran's Day approaches, we're excited to invite you to be a part of something truly special. We are seeking dedicated volunteers like you to assist in setting up a heartfelt display that will honor our nation's veterans.

Your time and effort can make a meaningful difference. Whether you're a seasoned event organizer or a first-time volunteer, we welcome everyone who shares our mission to pay tribute to our heroes.

Together, we can create a memorable and heartfelt tribute to those who have served our country. Let's honor our veterans together!

Group Volunteer Form

Preferred Opportunities

Please select any or all opportunities your goup would be interested in helping with.

Groups

Group opportunities include:

  • Field of Flags

    • Setup provided flags at marked locations along sidewalks within City Park and along Main Street between 5th Street and 7th Street

    • Remove and store the flags

  • Field of Crosses

    • Setup provided crosses within designated location in City Park

    • Nov 5th - Nov 17th check state of display and address any issues if needed, i.e. fallen crosses

    • Remove and store crosses

  • Ghost Soldiers 

    • Setup provided mannequins within designated location in City Park

    • Nov 5th - Nov 17th check state of display and address any issues if needed. i.e. Standing up mannequins or reattaching mannequin arms

    • Remove and store the mannequins

  • Main Street Flags

    • Setup provided flags at marked locations along Main Street sidewalks ​between 7th Street and 15th Street.

    • Remove and store the flags

  • Poppy Field

    • Well suited for groups with kids as it requires simple work close to the ground.

    • ​Setup provided poppies within designated location in City Park

    • Nov 5th - Nov 17th check state of display and address any issues if needed.

    • Remove and store the poppies​
